Attorney, David M.
Waldrop is a founding member of Holley, Waldrop, Nearn & Lazarov,
P.C. He is engaged in a civil trial practice with emphasis in the areas
of litigation, family law, including divorce, child custody, child
support, and personal injury litigation. He handles all aspects of
litigation including motions, depositions, trials, appeals, mediation
and arbitration. He is an experienced litigator and is committed to
providing exceptional legal representation.
David is licensed to practice
in all state courts located in the States of Tennessee and Mississippi
as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western
Districts of Tennessee, the United States District Courts for the
Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the United States
Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Sixth Circuits. He practices
throughout West Tennessee and North Mississippi.
After obtaining his Bachelor of
Business Administration Degree in 1984 from the University of Memphis,
David graduated from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the
University of Memphis in 1987 receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree.
Prior to law school, David
served as a fire fighter for the City of Germantown from 1979 until
1984. He is very active in his community and serves on the Board for the
Memphis Oral School of the Deaf and as an Elder at Germantown
Presbyterian Church working with both the personnel and youth
committees. He previously served on the Town of Collierville Planning
Commission as Chairman from 1999 to 2001, Vice Chairman for 2002 and the
Comprehensive Planning Committee to develop Collierville’s Land Use
Plan.
